Privacy Policy
This is the English privacy policy for the NEONDYNE website, games and apps. The German Datenschutzerklärung is the authoritative version for users in Germany.

2. Hosting and server logs
This website runs on a server in the Vultr (The Constant Company, LLC) data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Backups are stored on a server in Belgium. All personal data therefore remains on servers within the European Union. Technical server administration is provided by EZProvider Networks Inc., Vancouver, Canada; any resulting third-country access relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for Canada (Art. 45 GDPR).
When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits standard request data (IP address, date and time, requested file, browser/OS, referrer), which is stored in server log files for the purpose of secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. No cookies, no tracking, no ads
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. The games store game saves, local high scores and settings on your device only (localStorage / app storage) — strictly necessary for the features you use; the data stays on your device until you delete it.
4. Online features (leaderboards and challenges)
The games are fully playable without an account and without providing any personal data. If you use the online features, we process:
- a randomly generated guest ID (UUID) for your device — no account, no real name,
- freely chosen initials (three characters), publicly visible on leaderboards,
- game results (score, lines, level, game version),
- the input log of a run (the sequence of moves), which our server replays to verify the result (anti-cheat),
- challenge codes and attempt counts.
Legal bases: providing the online features you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); score validation and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in fair leaderboards). Please do not use initials that identify you unless you want that. Leaderboard entries are stored for as long as the leaderboard is maintained; you can request deletion of your entries at any time by e-mail (your guest ID is shown in the game's settings).
5. IP addresses and abuse prevention
When you use the online features, IP addresses are processed transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP addresses are not stored permanently together with game data.
6. Locally hosted content
All website content — including the Orbitron font, images and stylesheets — is served exclusively from our own server. No connections are made to third-party servers (no Google Fonts, no CDNs).
7. Apps (iOS / Android)
This policy also applies to the NEONDYNE apps for iOS and Android, which process the same data as the web version. When you obtain the apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store operator's privacy policy applies additionally to the store transaction itself. The apps contain no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
9. Encryption
All traffic to this website and the game APIs is TLS-encrypted (https).
